Now an adult and fully aware of his powers and destiny as Anti-Christ, Damien Thorn (Sam Neill) is now the U.S. Ambassador to Britain, a post once held by his late adoptive father. He plans, though, to ascend to the U.S. Presidency and use the position to effect his domination of the world. His league of followers has grown through the years to now include even Peter Reynolds (Barnaby Holm), the son of journalist Kate Reynolds (Lisa Harrow), with whom he’s become romantically involved. But so has the determination of men like Father DeCarlo (Rossano Brazzi), a priest who leads a group of holy men armed with the only weapons known to be able to kill Damien, the ancient seven daggers of Megiddo. Damien’s plans are accelerated when he learns of the appearance of an alignment of stars in the night sky which are said to portend the second coming of Christ. Damien orders all male children in England born on the day of the star’s appearance be murdered in an attempt to protect his power. But events have already been set in motion which lead to a showdown between Damien and the forces of good aligned against him.
